Join an intimate conversation with three of the newest public defender leaders sharing their journey to management as young Black women. Martesha Johnson (Nashville Metropolitan Chief Public Defender), Aisha McWeay (Executive Director of Still She Rises), and Chantá Parker (Managing Director of NDS Detroit) will engage in an informative and uplifting roundtable discussion about a range of topics including their career paths, what it's like leading a public defender office, and how they create pathways to leadership for younger lawyers. Attendees will gain valuable insight on management and leadership and have an opportunity to ask questions of the panelists during the session.
