This course promotes the use of motion practice as a tool to address and challenge fundamental and/or social wrongs. It encourages lawyers to think outside the bounds of traditional legal and motion practice and use whatever relevant legal mechanisms necessary to construct cogent, persuasive arguments. The focus is on pre-trial motions, as opposed to suppression motions or motions in limine.
