The panelists will speak on the opportunities for defenders to help shape the media narrative around criminal "justice" issues, influence stories beyond just "giving a quote," share information about systemic issues no one else knows about, how to build relationships of trust with journalists, and the skills that make for the most effective partnerships with the press.
