Darryl C. Green is an American author, coach and motivational speaker who has transformed the lives of many both domestically and internationally with his message of healing, reconciliation and deep forgiveness. Green is President and Principal Consultant of Deep Forgiveness, a non-profit organization established to assist in the restoration of families and economic empowerment for the disenfranchised. A staunch proponent for libertarian reconciliation and forgiveness, Green has been pegged by industry professionals as an innovative change agent on mental health, healing, social welfare, restorative justice and criminal justice reform
Green’s passion for his work, which stems in large part from the tragic murder of his then-teenage brother, has established him as an acclaimed and highly sought-after lecturer and presenter at colleges and universities throughout the United States and abroad.
Green holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis on Crime and Delinquency Prevention and Control, from Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland. He holds a Master of Science in Social Work, with an emphasis on Urban Children, Youth and Families, from Morgan State University in Baltimore. His Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice was earned at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina. Green is currently a professor in Morgan State University’s School of Social Work Graduate Program.
He is married and has two daughters.
