Sara Jacobson serves as the Executive Director of Training for the Public Defender Association of Pennsylvania (PDAP). Before joining PDAP, Sara served as the Director of Trial Advocacy and an Associate Professor as Temple Law School, where she taught Trial Advocacy, Evidence and Criminal Procedure. Before coming to Temple, Sara was an assistant public defender at the Defender Association of Philadelphia for a decade. Sara serves on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Rules of Evidence Committee and has trained judges, prosecutors, public defenders, court staff and trial advocacy teachers on transgender competency since 2010.
